Meet customers in the language they choose
Swarit offers 12 language choices: Marathi, Malayalam, Kannada, Tamil, Telugu, Gujarati, Punjabi, Bengali, Assamese, Odia (labelled Oriya in the selector), Hindi and English. Start with the languages your customers actually use, then expand as your team learns from the enquiries.
A property buyer in Pune may want to discuss location and budget in Marathi. A parent in Hyderabad may ask about course fees in Telugu. The language changes; the business still needs a clear requirement, relevant answers and an agreed next step.
Build one useful outcome before expanding
Choose a single journey: collect an appointment request, qualify a property enquiry or answer questions about a course. Define what the agent should learn, which business information it may use and what your team needs at handoff. Then review that journey in each language you intend to offer.
Use real product names, local place names and the phrases callers use for dates, amounts and preferences. Ask native speakers to review whether the wording feels natural and whether names and numbers are captured correctly. A translated greeting alone does not demonstrate a complete customer journey.
Keep business knowledge behind the answer
Language access becomes useful when the agent can answer from your business information. Supply current opening hours, service descriptions, product facts and policies. Keep ownership clear so someone updates that information when prices, schedules or procedures change.
A caller asking about a clinic appointment should receive the clinic’s administrative information. A shopper asking about a product should hear supported catalogue facts. When the answer is missing, the useful response is a clear follow-up request that preserves the question.
Pair conversation with a defined process
Some enquiries benefit from an open conversation. Others need required fields and completion rules. Swarit supports prompt-based and step-based agent designs, with business knowledge available as context. The step harness lets you define what must be collected before a guided conversation progresses.
For a sales enquiry, that might mean requirement, location, budget and preferred follow-up time. These are business fields, not a rigid speech script. Review the captured record as carefully as the spoken response.
Start with your first language pair
Try the account-free browser playground with a language and a short instruction describing your business task. The playground is a way to experience the conversation; a production workflow also needs your knowledge, fields and operating rules.
Start with the customers you want to reach and the work the conversation should complete. Choose the language, supply the business information and define the next step your team can act on.
